Top-loading hard drive storage solution supports more than 600 terabytes of storage capacity

Equus Computer Systems, Inc., one of America’s largest manufacturers of custom hardware solutions, announces it has launched the Nobilis i2091R4, a highly scalable 4U rackmount server with more than 600 terabytes (TB) of storage capacity. Its highly scalable capacity and outstanding performance make the Nobilis i2091R4 ideal for content delivery, data archiving, video surveillance and capturing, and law enforcement, such as body cams video retention.

The unique new top-loading hard drive storage solution supports sixty 3.5-inch + 2x 2.5-inch hot-swappable hard drives. It features two Intel Xeon E5-2600V4 processors with up to 22 cores each. Memory includes 16 DIMM sockets, DDR4 2400 (2TB), (LR) DIMM and RDIMM.

With more than a half a petabyte in a compact 4-U box, the Nobilis i2091R4 has the capacity and high caching ability that makes it a great choice for environments requiring retention of video capturing data. The large capacity tool-less design decreases maintenance requirements compared to other options for storing drives to meet data retention needs.
