Equus Compute Solutions Announces Release of G4560 5xGPU Tower Server

Server offers high performance and customizability ideal for workstation-level data analytics

Equus Compute Solutions has released the new G4560 5xGPU tower server, ideal for high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, deep learning, and massively parallel computing environments. This GPU platform offers higher performance, reduced rack space requirements, and lower power consumption compared with traditional CPU-centric platforms, all in a workstation-convenient tower form factor.

The innovative design of the G4560 supports up to five double wide GPUs, and features memory expandable up to 1.5 TB. Equus is an NVIDIA Preferred Partner and the clever physical layout provides a mix of external drive configurations, high bandwidth memory design, and lightning-fast PCI-E bus implementation. This flexible tower server offers dual 10GbE LAN support, with options for multiple 100 GbE LAN support, and eight hot swap SSD/HDD bays.

All Equus GPU servers have the unique advantage of flexible GPU sourcing options – install your own GPUs, consign GPUs to Equus for factory installation, or purchase turnkey GPU server systems.

“Our customers have been asking for the flexibility to source GPUs in different ways on high performance servers,” said Lee Abrahamson, CTO of Equus Compute Solutions. “Our GPU servers, such as the G4560 tower server, are the ideal cost-optimized solutions for a wide range of applications and workloads. At the same time, these innovative platforms provide benefits of scale and volume, component standardization, ease of service logistics, and the means to avoid vendor lock-in.”

The G4560 5xGPU tower uses Intel® Xeon® Scalable CPUs and NVIDIA Tesla GPUs, and features a wide range of SSD/HDD hot-swap storage options, OpenBMC readiness for open systems management, and Redfish support.
